Boba Guys x Treecard Ocean Beach Clean-Up

May 7. Help protect our local beaches! Boba Guys and Treecard are teaming up to host a beach clean-up event at Ocean Beach. For every person who attends and signs into the event, Treecard pledges to plant one tree, and drinks will be provided by Boba Guys for the first 100 volunteers. Of Here From There Virtual Art Experience

May 6. Join for a virtual walkthrough of the first large-scale project featuring Creativity Explored (CE) artists with developmental disabilities. The virtual installation immerses visitors with fantastical, large-scale sculptures with time-lapse videos showing the process of mark-making by over 50 CE artists. Sculptural surfaces provide an original format for the undulating brush strokes, depicting a series of original artworks created in real-time. 5:30-7 p.m. Free. Register

Giant 9-Foot-Tall Floral Butterflies Around S.F.

Through May 7. Peruse and view the 13 huge floral butterflies displayed across San Francisco. From North Beach to the Bay View, butterflies will be found on our city streets this weekend. The S.F. Flower Market recruited some of the very best floral designers in the city to create these largescale floral butterflies. The butterflies range from six to nine feet tall are made from natural materials and fresh flowers. Check out the map to find these installations.

Legion of Honor

Reopens May 7. The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco announced the reopening of the Legion of Honor. The museum opens to the public on Friday, and to members on May 6. Two new special exhibitions will premiere at the museum when it reopens, including the Last Supper in Pompeii: From the Table to the Grave, which is the first exhibition to focus on the love of food and drink in the ancient city of Pompeii.
