Free Admission to San Francisco Botanical Garden

Dec. 25. Get a breath of fresh air and take in the beautiful greenery at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Visit this living museum that boasts more than 8,000 plants from around the world within its’ 55 acres. Inverted Christmas Tree at Westfield San Francisco Center

Through Dec. 31. Look at the holidays with a different point of view at Westfield San Francisco. Attendees can view the famous inverted Christmas tree hanging from the mall’s skylit dome on Level 4 and snap Instagram-worthy photos. SIFF’s Holiday Film and Virtual Wine Tasting Experience

Dec. 26. Sonoma International Film Festival presents the West Coast premiere of French film Pure As Snow (Blanche Comme Neige) and a virtual wine tasting from Anaba Wines. While enjoying Anaba Wine’s “Food and Wine Lovers Trio” kit, tune in to watch the film that follows the story of a beautiful young woman named Claire who works at her late father’s hotel that is now managed by her evil stepmother Maud. Entwined at Peacock Meadow

Continuing. Light up your evening at this outdoor public art installation, Entwined, at Golden Gate Park’s Peacock Meadow. The installation features a show utilizing flickering lights and LED-lit trees and bushes to create an enchanted forest of ever-changing lights and otherworldly shapes. The installation is scheduled to run through Feb. 29, and could possibly be extended to June 1.
