Popular Union Square contemporary art gallery CK Contemporary has moved into a new home with twice as much exhibition space and that is only a half-block from its previous digs. The new gallery at the corner of Powell and Geary streets is just steps from the well-traveled public plaza that is Union Square.
The new contemporary art gallery, which covers the best in realism and abstraction, is home to works by a noteworthy roster of artists including Christopher Schulz, Anne Leone, Gustavo Torres and James Hollingsworth.
The increased space allows the gallery to display single-artist exhibitions, according to the owners, as well as to group shows at the same time, offering opportunities to highlight more artists who deserve attention.
